A great book, it makes it easy to draw very cute cartoon type animals. The step by step pictures of what you need to draw are clear and easy to follow. It has 10 different animals to draw, my favourite is the crocodile. Great for all ages.

We are just starting to get back my 7 year sons interest's in to drawing , something he used to do a lot when he was 1-2, and this book was a very welcome addition and has provided the required information to make it a cool add to his favorites.
My daughter, who fancies herself to be an artist, told me that this book was exactly what she wanted. She found the book to provide simple, clear and easy to follow directions.
Not that I am much of an artist, but I gave a few animals a try myself and have to say that the step by step animal drawing directions are spot on!
I remember spending hours learning to draw using those over-sized books filled with drawings very much like this one. For anyone who wants to pick up a pencil and turn their doodling time into fun art, this is a great book to show you the way. Yes, it's more for kids, but if you are new to drawing and sketching, this is exactly what you need.
It's not quite as simple as it sounds, at least for the artistically challenged persons such as myself. That said, the 4-year-old in our household and I managed to produce similar artwork vaguely recognizable as animals, and the book could be a springboard for creative adaptation. The price is reasonable for the several examples, the idea is good, the child and I had fun with it and it is available as a future resource for "there's nothing to do" days.
I have never been able to draw a straight line with a ruler, but I am hoping that my grandkids will do better! So I tried this book to see if I could encourage them to draw those cute little things I know they love. Starting with the rabbit, my drawing actually looked like a rabbit. A second try looked even better. It is perfect for kids, and - to move on to drawing the monkeys and other little critters they love. Noted as being for 'over 6' years old, my one granddaughter under that may be ready to try. I am giving the book a thumbs up!
